WHAT IS MICROWAVE?

Microwave Dryer frequencies are in the range of 300MHz-300GHz and wavelengths are electromagnetic waves from 1mm to 1m. Microwave Dryer generally shows permeability, reflection or absorbtion characteristics. Microwave passes without being absorbed by materials such as glass, plastic and porcelain. Water and foods absorb microwaves and heat itself. Metals reflect microwaves.

 

MICROWAVE DRYING

The water molecule is a polar molecule, it changes the polar property and creates the friction motion with the effect of the high speed change of the electromagnetic field. Then the microwave electromagnetic field energy turns into heat energy and it performs the drying process. Microwave heats the material inside and outside evenly due to its strong penetration. In this way, it does not occur that the outside of the product is dry and the inside is wet. Thanks to the permable feature of the microwave, the product to be subjected to heating is provided as the heat source itself. In this way, the duration of heat conduction is shortened and the drying time is significantly reduced.
